Australian Seabird Rescue Wildlifelink Sanctuary and Sea Turtle Hospital (ASR) is a coastal Education/Marine Wildlife Rescue Centre that is reducing the Human Impact on Marine Wildlife.

School Holiday tours run from 10am in the NSW School holidays for one hour at a cost of $5 per person. Personalised tours for groups of 10 or more are also available upon request.

Gift shop available. They also cater for morning tea, lunch and/or afternoon tea for groups of ten or more people. Bookings required - call or email ASR.

The Ballina and Naval Maritime Museum features extensive displays of Port of Ballina, local history, a tribute to women in the Navy, interactive displays, DVD showings, working triple expansion steam engine and is home to the Las Balsas Raft that sailed from Ecuador to Ballina in 1973. Guided tours available for school and bus groups, project sheets plus souvenir and gift shop.

Aboriginal sites represent a spiritual reality - a strong link that joins individuals to ancestors, mythology and dreaming. Sites are the place from which each person came and to which their spirit returns after death. Murals in the Jingi Wahla tunnel tell the story of the Three Brothers - Yarbirri, Mamoom and Burrung who were the ancestral founders of the Bundjalung Nation.
