Ceramics Coiling Workshop with Phaedra Davy at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery

Join Northern Rivers ceramicist and arts educator Phaedra Davy in this two-day immersive hand building ceramics workshop where participants will learn the ancient art of hand-coiling. On day one students will be guided through the creation of a bottle with clay stopper, and two drinking vessels, and day two participants will paint their pieces with white slip and learn how to decorate them using a combination of sgraffito carving techniques and coloured slip painting.

Tools, materials and a stoneware oxidisation firing are included. Fired works will be available for collection within six weeks of the completion of the workshop.
