Live Sound Production – an introduction from Analog to Digital

Resonator Music presents a hands-on live sound clinic with Adam Biggs, owner of Biggsounds Productions, who brings over 30 years of professional audio experience. This interactive workshop is designed to help musicians, performers and aspiring engineers improve their understanding of live sound and get the most out of their gear.

Covering both analogue and digital equipment, the clinic will take participants through the fundamentals of sound engineering in an accessible and practical way. From setting up and optimising your existing gear to demystifying unfamiliar tools, Adam’s expertise will provide clear guidance to enhance live performance sound.

No prior experience is required, making the session suitable for musicians of all levels who want to develop confidence in managing their own sound. Participants can expect to leave with a deeper understanding of audio basics, as well as practical skills that can be applied immediately in rehearsals, gigs or recording environments.

This event marks the first in a continuing series of live sound workshops at Resonator Music. Future sessions will be tailored to the needs and interests identified in these initial clinics, ensuring ongoing opportunities for growth and learning within the local music community.
