Mini Farmers at Summerland Farm

Looking for a school holiday activity that’s both fun and educational? The Mini Farmer Experience at Summerland Farm is perfect for young animal lovers and budding farmers.

This two-hour interactive workshop gives kids the chance to meet and care for friendly guinea pigs and feed and brush the farm’s gentle cows. Kids can harvest vegetables and plant seedlings, as well as learn about composting and worms. Create enrichment toys for animals and enjoy a behind-the-scenes farm tour by ATV.

The experience is all about connection with animals, nature, and sustainable farming practices—ideal for curious kids who don’t mind getting a little muddy.

Bring a hat, enclosed shoes and a snack for break time.
