On Stage – Acting, Singing and Dancing Workshop
OnStage is a high-energy, fast-paced four-day school holiday program focused on personal capacity building for young people aged six to 17 years. The program is held in Ballina, NSW.
Participants learn a dance routine, songs, stagecraft, and a drama piece—all developed to performance level. Throughout the program, students gain new skills, form friendships, and have a great deal of fun. OnStage is specifically designed to build self-esteem, confidence, and social interaction skills, both on and off the stage.
Each workshop accommodates approximately 70 students, with many families enrolling multiple children. Since its inception in 2009, OnStage has welcomed over 3,700 participants, with approximately 90 percent returning for future workshops.
Workshops are held regularly during the Autumn, Winter, and Spring school holidays at the Ballina Players’ Theatre.
