Innovate and Connect: Small Business Networking Evening

Ballina Shire Council’s Destination and Economy Team is excited to invite local businesses to the Innovate and Connect: Small Business Networking Evening on Wednesday 29 October, 5–7pm at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery.

This free event is a chance to come together at the end of Small Business Month and Tech Week for an evening of connection, inspiration and celebration – with drinks, nibbles and plenty of opportunities to network.

On the night, you’ll:

  • Hear from ID Support NSW, Australia’s leading identity support unit, on how to keep your business and customers safe from scams and identity crime
  • Take part in a short AI simulation exercise and learn practical ways technology can help make your business more efficient and creative
  • Experience the latest exhibitions at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery, showcasing bold and experimental works from local artists
  • Meet Council’s new Destination and Economy Team and discover how we’re working with local businesses to build a thriving economy
