Discover Ballina - Northern Rivers Food Workshop: Monetizing Food Trails
Plan your Ballina Coast and Hinterland escape…

NRF Workshop Are you a food & beverage producer and interested in opening up your premises to trial new ventures? If yes, then this workshop is a must!

Northern Rivers Food (NRF) is pleased to present their first "Monetizing Food Trails" workshop which will run Monday March 29th from 8am - 11am at the Byron at Byron (with a follow up zoom session April 12th from 12 - 1pm).

This workshop is designed for farmers and food & beverage producers interested in opening up their premises to trial new ventures that could add value or create on farm products or services.
In particular it has been put together to assist people who are interested in participating in the NRF Harvest Food Trail (now or in the future). However we welcome all local producers in the region interested in this topic who may be considering agri-tourism initiatives.
This session will look at consumer insights and what’s required to open your cellar door and manage people on your premises. It will include ideas and options for you to promote the experience and we will also touch on marketing ideas and concepts to generate revenue while visitors are on your premises.
The NRF Harvest Food Trail is a great way to test the water to see if opening to locals and visitors is viable to you and appealing to them. This workshop will also help you prepare and make the most of the opportunity!

Session times:
• Workshop session: Monday March 29th, 8am - 11am, meeting room at the Byron @ Byron (morning tea included)
• Follow up zoom session with Rose Wright, April 12th from 12 - 1pm.
