In celebration of NAIDOC Week, the Ballina CPL Gariima Elders Group presents a meaningful pop-up exhibition at Ignite Studios.

This exhibition is a rich expression of stories and traditions, exploring themes of family, cultural connections, colours of Country, nature, ceremony, gathering and homeland. Works are created using a combination of natural ochres and materials carefully sourced on Bundjalung Country, grounding each piece in place and memory.

Visitors are invited to reflect on the stories of the Gariima Elders Group and experience the strength and beauty of culture shared through art.

This exhibition is open to all and offers a unique opportunity to honour the voices and creativity of local Aboriginal Elders.
