Whats on around Ballina

It's the weekend and there's plenty happening around the Ballina Coast and Hinterland.

Kick off the weekend at Shelly beach café this evening from 4.30pm at their weekly Friday evening Sunset Session. Enjoy their delicious seasonal menu or just grab a freshly made cocktail...yum! 

From 7pm tonightDave Graney and Clare Moorewill be performing live at the Eltham Hotel. Last year's show was a sellout so get in quick! 

There are a couple of multi-day events on this weekend around the Northern Rivers. Flickerfest hit Bangalow yesterday and will be screening a smorgasbord of over 40 incredible short films until Saturday night at the A & I Hall. 

If you're up for a drive, Kyogle is hosting the Northern Rivers Country Festival  all weekend. There will be lots to see and do at this family friendly event, from rodeo action and Stockmans Challenge to local food, drink and retails stalls, live music and entertainment...Yeehaa! 

Mask up in Lismore on Saturday night at the 'Beyond Venice Masquerade Party'. Paying homage to the annual Venetian carnevale festivities, guests are invited to dress up, wear dazzling masks and take to the dance floor for a night of traditional Italian toe-tapping dance moves. 

Closer to home, JB's Blue Breakerswill be performing at the Ballina Golf Club on Saturday night from 6pm. These guys have been Creating a buzz around the Northern Rivers. 

If you're hoping to hit the markets this weekend then as usual, there are a few to choose from. 

Mullumbimby Community Market is on this Saturday from 8 'til 2 with lots of treasures on offer as well as great local live music and yummy food. 

The weekly Byron Twilight Market is also on this Saturday from 4 to 9pm. A cosy night market right in the heart of Byron Bay. 

On Sunday, don't miss the fantastic Ballina Farmers Market by the river at Missingham Park. Grab a coffee while you stock up on fresh local produce for the week. 

Up in Newrybar, Harvest Deliare putting on their weekly Breakfast BBQ & Live Music! Every Sunday from 8am-12pm at Harvest Deli. 

If you're a motorcycle fan then the Alstonville Showground is the place to be this Sunday at the 3rd North Coast Classic Motorcycle Show-n-Swap .
