It's all happening in our hinterland with Alstonville hosting the bulk of our activities. 

The newly formed Duck Creek Film Society in Alstonville is hosting their first movie on the plateau. They will be screening social movie events in Alstonville four times in 2024 with the first one being French romantic comedy “My Donkey, My Lover & I” this Saturday evening. 

If you are seeking a more creative afternoon for your Saturday then join Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary for a Life Drawing Class and learn the fundamentals of figure drawing. The class includes a series of drawing exercises in charcoal and pencil. 

This Sunday, don't miss the 4th North Coast Classic Motorcycle Show n Swap held at the Alstonville Showground. Motorcycles on display include everything from veteran to classic types. 

Have you been to see the latest exhibition at Crawford House Museum? “Sew Inspired”, is a display of the work of the Ballina/Byron U3A Textile Art Group, a group of passionate stitchers who have an ongoing love affair with fabrics and threads of all kinds. Check it out on Friday or Sunday.
