Held on the first Monday of every month, the Ballina Masonic Centre invites grandparents who are looking after their grandchildren full time to their monthly meeting. 

The Grandcares Project supports grandparents who become full-time carers for their grandchildren—often under informal arrangements and with limited resources.

Many face financial hardship, social isolation, and mental stress due to leaving the workforce and lacking connection to younger generations.

The project aims to inspire, support, educate, and empower these carers, promoting equality and justice while helping them provide the best possible care for their grandchildren.
