Huxley & Friel Return with Intimate Regional Tour

After a standout 2024 featuring performances at major festivals including Bleach Festival, Groundwater Country Music Festival and Dorrigo Folk and Bluegrass Festival, acclaimed acoustic duo Huxley & Friel are back on the road for a series of intimate shows stretching from Brisbane to the Northern Rivers.

Fresh from the Charlotte Plains Festival in June, the duo are embracing a slower pace, offering audiences a chance to experience their finely woven melodies and global folk influences in a warm, communal setting.

Huxley & Friel, both accomplished solo artists in their own right, share a profound love of guitar and a deep interest in bluegrass traditions. Together, they’ve crafted a sound that’s both technically refined and emotionally resonant—something greater than the sum of its parts.

They’ll be joined by supporting act Hootenanny Highway, bringing their signature mix of energy and rootsy charm to the stage.
