Not-for-profit organisations and local councils across NSW are invited to apply for grants of up to $5000 for events that celebrate cultural diversity in their community.

Aboriginal Cultural Ways signage with views overlooking the beach

Council has installed a series of interpretive signs that recognise the Aboriginal cultural heritage values along the Ballina coastline. The Aboriginal Cultural Ways project has been a collaboration between Council, Jali LALC and Ballina Shires's Aboriginal community. The project has also been supported by the NSW Office of Environmental and Heritage and the Heritage Council of NSW.
