Join the DPIRD Fisheries for a Women’s Fishing Workshop – a free, fun and friendly event designed to inspire women to enjoy the great outdoors and try their hand at fishing.

Whether you’re brand new to baiting a hook or looking to refine your casting technique, their team of experienced instructors will guide you through:

• Hands-on workshops & demonstrations

• Fishing basics & techniques

• Practical lessons on the water

This relaxed, supportive environment is perfect for building your skills, meeting new people, and enjoying the fresh air. 

Each attendee will take home a free rod/reel combo and a great goodies bag to ensure you can continue to experience the joys of fishing and the relaxed lifestyle it offers. On the day, you'll get to meet like-minded ladies across the Ballina area for some introductory fishing lessons and most importantly lots of smiles and fun.
