Keeper for a Day at the Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary
These school holidays Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is offering a limited number of “KEEPER FOR A DAY” experiences. If you’re aged between 12 and 18 you can spend a day behind the scenes with one of their senior keepers.
Find out what working in a wildlife sanctuary is all about with some exclusive firsthand experiences. Learn about the conservation of our local wildlife, animal husbandry practises, and create and provide enrichment for the animals.
This one-day workshop is suitable for young people between 12 and 18 years of age (participants need to be independently physically capable).
Age: 12 – 18 years
Time: 9am to 3.30pm (register 8.30am)
Limit: 10 per workshop
Includes morning tea, lunch, and an ice cream.
