Coastal Recreation Path
The Coastal Recreation Path from Ballina to Lennox Head is one of the region’s standout outdoor experiences. A beautifully maintained shared pathway hugging the coastline that’s perfect for walkers, cyclists, and anyone looking to soak up spectacular sea breezes and unforgettable views.
Stretching over 12km from Ballina’s riverfront through East Ballina to Lennox Head, the path links beaches, headlands and scenic lookouts with seamless, mostly flat terrain ideal for a day out on foot or two wheels.
Break it up! Plenty of shorter walks to enjoy so do small sections if preferred.
Nature Walks
For a change of pace and scenery, head to the hinterland and enjoy a nature walk. For a short, accessible walk, Victoria Park Nature Reserve is ideal for all ages and abilities. For those that one a bit more of an adventure, Nightcap National Park offers a range of walks, we suggest Minyon Falls Walking Track to get you started.
