Coastal Recreational Path
Beginning in the heart of Ballina, this pathway stretches along the riverfront and hugging the spectacular coastline from Ballina to Lennox Head. The Coastal Recreation Path is a shared-use pathway that invites walkers and cyclists to explore some of the region’s most stunning natural and cultural landscapes.
The entire length of the path is 11.5km but can be done in different sections.
This scenic route showcases uninterrupted beach views and rich cultural heritage — a harmonious blend of sea breeze and storytelling.
Recommended sections include:
Shaws Bay Loop – 3.1km
Sharpes Beach to Pat Morton – 3km
Lennox Head to Pat Morton Lookout – 1.2km
Aboriginal Cultural Ways – 2.5km
