December is here and it's starting to feel a little bit like Christmas! There's Christmas markets, Christmas photos and Santa's Wonderland as well as exhibition openings, social sundays and Farmers Markets...wow! For a monthly overview view our December What's On Guide

 The CWA are running their annual Christmas Market Day this Saturday at the Ballina Masonic Hall. Head on down and get yourself some homemade cooking, handicrafts, and Christmas treats! 

Up the hill, Wollongbar P&C have organised for Santa to be at Wollongbar Primary School on Saturday between 9am and 12pm for family Christmas photos... you can even bring your fur babies along too! 

Santa's Wonderland is returning for its fifth year running in Lismore on Saturday and Sunday so be sure to head on down to the Lismore CBD for some safe and fun festive cheer! 

Not quite ready to jump into Christmas yet? There's plenty of other activities happening across the Shire to keep you entertained. For the art lovers, David Lane's 2022 studio exhibition  opens this weekend in Tintenbar. The exhibition is for the enjoyment of all, visitors are welcome, and admission is free. 

Up in Newrybar, Harvest are having their weekly 'Smokin' Sundays'  from 12-3pm. They will be dishing up some amazing wood-fired dishes using their bakery wood-fired oven as well as serving up ice-cold beers and drinks for an epic afternoon on the village green. No bookings required. See you there!  

Don't forget to hit up the weekend markets as well! Byron's annual ceramic bazaar, 'Good Things Market'  kicks off on Sunday from 10am-3pm. A great spot to pick up some pottery goodies.  

The Ballina Farmers Market, as always will be on from 7-11am near Missingham Bridge for all your local delicious eats.
