Happy Weekend Folks! There's plenty happening around the Ballina Coast and Hinterland to keep you busy.

Start your weekend off with some fun at Harvest's Fun FridayBring your dancing shoes, picnic rugs, and your furry friends and enjoy the live music, food trucks, kids entertainment and garden bars! 

Feel like a movie night? Get yourself down to the Lennox Head Cultural Centre for the screening of 'Six Festivals' on Saturday night. Presented by the Lennox Arts Board, this film is a moving love letter to young friendship and the life-altering power of live music. 

On Sunday, Marine Rescue Ballina are hosting their weekly 'Breakfast at the Beach'from 7 to 11am. Breakfast IS by donation which contributes to providing services both in the radio room, at the base and on their rescue vessels. 

Byron Bird Buddies are celebrating World Wetlands Day on Sunday with a special Wetland Birds Presentation. A great opportunity to learn more about our feathered friends, from some local experts. 

It's the weekend which means it is market time and this weekend there a few options!  

TheByron Community Market is on this Saturday. From 8 to 3 wander the beach foreshore through a collection of market stalls which showcase Byron’s intrinsic authenticity and lively culture. 

On Sunday, it's time for the Ballina Farmers Market. Stock up on fresh local produce and enjoy the river views.  

As always, there also plenty of tours and activities to choose from. Head out for a leisurely discovery of Northern Rivers finest Breweries and Distilleries with Behind the Barrel learn about significant places and local traditional stories on a Broken Head Aboriginal walking tour; or join a Nyangbal Half Day Coastal Walk with Byron Bay Coastal Walks.
