It's the weekend...Hooray! There's plenty happening around the Ballina Coast and Hinterland.

Start your weekend off in style tonight at Shelly Beach Café's weekly Taco and Maragrita Sunset Session. Enjoy  live music, margaritas and a Mexican themed menu using local ingredients. 

If you are feeling crafty, don't miss Stellarossa's  Paint 'n' Sip session tonight at Ballina Central. Local artist Annie will teach you with step-by-step instructions while you munch on Stellarossa's delicious pizza. 

On Saturday enjoy a family day out at the Wollongbar Public School Fete - A Fair to RememberThere will be so much for the kids to see and do including market stalls, entertainment, second hand books, plenty of food, coffee, drinks, cakes, displays, Giant Slide, Mechanical Surfboard, Iron Man Obstacle course, Laser Skirmish, Bouncy Castle, Rock Wall, Inflatable Maze, Fairy floss, Snow Cones and much more…… 

The fun for kids continues over the weekend up at Brunswick heads at Sidestep Kids Festival A free multi-arts festival showcases an exciting program of all things fun! 

Shaws Bay Hotel will be hosting their weeklyOyster and Margarita Saturday from 2 – 6pm. $2 oysters...What! 

If you are venturing South then be sure to check out Stray Espresso's food truck and live music event from 6pm in Evans Head. Treat yourself with some delish gyozas and sweet tunes by Adam Harpaz. 

Harvest Newrybar has your Sunday morning sorted with their weekly Sunday BBQ Breakfast and Live Music from 8 – 12pm. 

Over in Lismore, international performers will take you on a journey through the musical world of opera at Opera In The Gardens from 3 – 5pm at Lismore Turf Club. Bring a picnic blanket or chair and enjoy the magic. 

For a different style of music,  South Sudanese/Australian rock & blues singerAjak Kwaiperforms live at the Eltham Hotel on Sunday night from 7pm. This is a free show but RSVP is required.
