Destination North Coast, in collaboration with Business NSW, is thrilled to announce the return of the North Coast Tourism Awards.

The 2024 North Coast Tourism Awards are designed to honour growth, innovation, and excellence within the tourism sector across the whole of the North Coast, and with last years success for Ballina Visitor Information Centre taking Gold in Excellence in Tourism Services and Summerland Farm bringing home the Tourist Attraction of the year award, we would like to strongly encourage our local operators to enter!

Participating in these respected awards offers a valuable opportunity for businesses to reflect on their achievements, strategies, and future visions, fostering growth and sustainability within the industry.

"The success of last year's Destination North Coast Tourism Awards was a clear indication that the tourism sector is thriving again. We look forward to our continued partnership with Destination North Coast in 2024, reigniting our collective passion for North Coast tourism and recognising the incredible excellence of tourism business in the region" said Ms. Paula Martin, Executive Director, NSW Tourism Industry Council.

"Entering is a rewarding experience. It provides an opportunity for businesses to reflect on the goals, strategies and vision which have shaped business success, and the insights they gain will help drive growth and the longevity of their business." Ms. Martin said.

Entries are currently open across 17 distinct categories.

The entry fee for the 2024 North Coast Tourism Awards is $55 (inclusive of GST). Don't miss the deadline with applications closing on 3 May 2024, with finalists set to be unveiled on 6 June 2024.

Mark your calendars for the highlight event: the North Coast Tourism Awards Gala Dinner, coinciding with the North Coast Tourism Symposium, on Thursday, 1 August 2024. This celebratory evening will take place in Port Macquarie, and tickets will be available for purchase soon.

Join us as we reignite our shared passion for North Coast tourism, exchange insights and experiences, and celebrate the resurgence of confidence within our industry and the North Coast visitor economy.
