Bunnyhole Vintage is a quirky boutique which sells a range of vintage, retro and recycled fashion.

 A unique variety of clothing, shoes, costume jewellery and accessories for all genders is available. The collection covers several eras from the 1940's through to modern day designer labels. In stock is an assortment of styles such as rock ‘n’ roll, pinup and western wear including a large selection of genuine cowboy boots. All items are lovingly washed, ironed and thoroughly condition checked to ensure only the highest quality. Fresh stock is added every week.

The business was previously located in Lismore for 6 years but the difficult decision was made to move to Ballina after the devastating floods in February/March 2022. Owner Nikki Roberts has been incredibly grateful for the kindness and support the community has shown to her and the business during the first year of trade in the new location. She is loving meeting all the locals and tourists who come to visit.

For Nikki who has a Visual Arts Degree, a love for fashion history and a passion for the environment, owning a vintage store is the perfect career. Nikki views fashion is a powerful medium for self-expression and artistic exploration. She loves helping customers explore their own style, create specific looks and to feel good about what they are wearing. With so much history and nostalgia to be found in vintage items it brings her immense satisfaction when special items find new homes where they will continue to be treasured and utilised.

Textile waste is a huge global issue with over consumption and fast fashion being the main contributors. Fast fashion uses a tremendous amount of resources, creates pollution and exploits workers. Garments are typically poorly made using low grade materials resulting in items being damaged and discarded after minimal wear. Australians are the world’s second highest textile consumers after the US and we produce enough textile waste to fill Sydney Harbor every year!
