WALK EVERYWHERE
Everything is so accessible! The best way to explore the waterways and main town is on foot. Park the car at Evans Head Main Beach, grab a coffee from The Sandpit Cafe and take a stroll along the breakwall, keeping an eye out for dolphins and turtles! Follow the footpath along the river to the heart of town. It may be a little main street but you will find everything you need and even some hidden gems.

SOUTHSIDE
A short 5 min drive over the bridge and you will find yourself on ‘the southside’. This is where you can access Bundjalung National Park, offering great walking tracks and quiet fishing spots. Well known as a fishing town, grab your fish and chips direct from the co-op and enjoy while watching the trawlers and pelicans.

AMAZING VIEWS
Continue exploring the south side and stop in at Shark Bay, a small and protected beach below Razorback Lookout. With the natural protection from a rocky cove, this is a really pretty spot to visit. The views from the lookout put everything in to perspective, the river mouth, the snorkeling and the sweeping beach towards Ballina.
