Cape Byron is Australia's most easterly point located on the North Coast of New South Wales in the Northern Rivers and is a popular tourist destination with world famous beaches and lush hinterland.

Byron Bay is surrounded by World Heritage Listed national parks, the Cape Byron Marine Park and the lush rolling hills in the hinterland filled with local farms and luxurious hideaway accommodation.

In the town of Byron Bay the choices of shopping are endless with charming boutiques, luxurious fashion labels and one-of-a kind homeware stores. Byron offers a large selection of dining options with tapas bars, high quality restaurants, hipster bars, quirky cafes and showcases and a bustling nightlife atmosphere around the town.

There are several activities to enjoy in Byron with daily trips to Julian Rocks in the Cape Byron Marine Park. Get up close to the marine life on a kayaking, snorkelling or diving tour. Alternatively, sign up for a surf lesson and learn to surf at one of Byron's world famous beaches or jump on board a tour boat and watch the beautiful humpback whales go by as they migrate north for the whale migration season between May and November.

Indulge in a day of pampering at one of the luxurious days spas in Byron or take time to relax and enjoy a yoga class on the beach. When visiting Byron Bay make sure to hike up the Byron Bay Lighthouse walk taking in the beautiful scenery and stop for a photo opportunity at Australia's most easterly point.
