Mullumbimby is located in the lush Byron Bay Hinterland on the North Coast of New South Wales and is known as the 'Biggest little town in Australia'. Upon entering visitors will be greeted by Mount Chincogan, a mountain that sits in the hinterland overlooking the township. 

Surrounding Mullumbimby in the hinterland go on a scenic drive where you will discover lush rainforests, walking tracks and beautiful scenic views overlooking the township of Mullumbimby and further to the Byron Bay coastline.

The town of Mullumbimby has a variety of quirky cafes and quality dining restaurants that use fresh local produce grown in the region. You will find colourful shops, interesting heritage buildings, a local museum and parks surrounding the township. Nestled in the hinterland there are several hidden accommodation hideaways if you are searching for a relaxing getaway to unwind and rejuvenate. Alternatively, visit one of the health retreats to take time out to enjoy a moment of relaxation and indulge is some pampering.

Make sure to stop in at the Crystal Castle and Shambhala Gardens to go on a meditative journey through the gardens, see the beautiful crystals and enjoy the peace and quiet to take time to reflect.  

Mullumbimby is home to the Mullum Music Festival, an annual boutique style event held in November each year that is always a drawcard for visitors and musicians.
