Evans Head is a small seaside fishing village located 40 minutes south of the Ballina Byron Gateway Airport. A visit to Evans Head Co-op is a must do to pick up your fresh locally caught seafood.

When visiting Evans Head make sure to stop at the Evans Head Memorial Aerodrome Heritage Aviation Museum where you will see some historic aeroplanes and can also go on a rescue mission over different terrains on the Westpac Rescue Helicopter stimulator ride. The museum showcases displays and experiences about or military and local aviation history.
