Tweed Heads is located directly on the New South Wales and Queensland Border and is only a few minutes from the Gold Coast Airport. Located on the coast, Tweed Heads boast more affordable accommodation and has extensive entertainment and nightlife.

Located on the border, there is easy accessibility to the Southern Gold Coast's most famous beaches and a large selection of restaurants and cafes. Along the Tweed River there are several water activities to take part in including deep sea fishing, river cruises and kayak hire. The river boasts beautiful shaded picnic locations to set up by the river for the day have a picnic, throw a line in the water and relax. Along Kennedy Drive, local seafood outlets can be found where you can indulge in local seafood caught fresh daily.
