Give your children the opportunity to become Wildlife Guardians at The Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary! Spend an exciting day with our keepers behind the scenes, learning about wildlife conservation and animal care.

The Wildlife Guardians program includes:

• A comprehensive sanctuary tour with a designated keeper, meeting all our wildlife residents

• Watching interactive keeper talks on reptiles, free-flight bird presentations, and kangaroo and emu feeding

• A private snake and lizard encounter

• Creating enrichment for our wildlife by making safe treats and toys that encourage natural behaviors and play

• Bug and insect play, along with invertebrate identification

• Enjoying putt-putt mini golf and playing in the splash park
