Julian Rocks Snorkel Tour

Julian Rocks Marine Sanctuary is rated as one of the best dive sites in Australia.  “Nguthungulli” the local Arakwal name for this incredible place, offers protected safe and shallow waters perfect for snorkelling and freediving, with prolific fish life and multiple areas to explore.
Sitting off the most easterly point of Australia, Julian Rocks is a convergence point of warm tropical and cooler temperate waters, making it a marine wildlife hotspot!  Turtles, Manta Rays, Leopard Sharks, Grey Nurse Sharks, Dolphins and Whales are all common visitors.

Enjoy the sights of the Byron coastline onboard our comfortable purpose built vessel “Apollo 2”, we often encounter local dolphins and other marine life on the way to Julian Rocks.


Whale Watching Safari

Every winter, over 30,000 Humpback Whales migrate from Antarctica up the East Coast of Australia to mate and birth their calves in warm tropical waters. Witness their playful curiosity and acrobatics as they breach, slap and splash just off the beaches of beautiful Byron Bay. Wild Byron Whale Watching operates daily tours between June and October for the adventurous at heart on our purpose built boat “Apollo 2”, offering 360 degree views, padded seating and powerful engines for comfort, speed and safety.


Minyon Waterfall Rainforest Tour

Experience the spectacular Minyon Falls, cascading over 100m into the lush rainforest valley of Nightcap National Park, on a guided and informative Rainforest Tour. Minyon Falls walking track offers the opportunity to encounter a range of wildlife including wallabies, koalas, goannas, green tree snakes, carpet pythons, brush turkeys and the elusive Albert’s Lyrebird.
